Manage Contributors

PreviousDeploymentNextManage Teams

Last updated 11 months ago

It is common to observe contributors using different accounts, email addresses, or usernames across different integrations. DevDynamics automatically merge accounts if email addresses are the same. However, for many integrations DevDynamics don't get access to the contributor email hence automatic merge is not possible.

Team leads or managers can merge different accounts of the same contributor using DevDynamics Merge capability.

Step 1

Go to the merge contributor setting (settings -> Contributors)

Step 2

Search for the contributor. You will be presented with a list of all the accounts that match the search text.

Step 3

Choose the accounts that belong to the same person and click on the Merge button located at the top.

Step 4

Select the account on the popup that has a valid email address, and then click on the Merge button at the bottom

Bulk Merge

  1. Records in csv with modified as true are account where our system suggest the correct business email address. Review system modified records and if email is not correct, please correct them.
