Metrics
Overview
DevDynamics provides a comprehensive set of engineering metrics to help teams measure, understand, and improve their software delivery performance.
Available Metric Categories
Cycle Time Metrics
Cycle Time Metrics track the end-to-end flow of work from ticket creation through production deployment. They help identify bottlenecks at each stage of the development lifecycle, including waiting time, coding time, pickup time, merge time, and deploy time.
DORA Metrics
DORA (DevOps Research and Assessment) metrics are industry-standard key performance indicators for evaluating DevOps practices. DevDynamics tracks all four core DORA metrics: Deployment Frequency, Lead Time for Change, Change Failure Rate, and Mean Time to Recovery.
Git Dashboard
The Git Dashboard provides detailed metrics around code review health, developer engagement, and collaboration patterns. It includes metrics such as the Feedback Responsiveness Index, Review Responsiveness Index, Review Completion Index, Reviewer Distribution, Average Active Days, PR Review Health, Open PR Age, and Work Breakdown Distribution.
Using Metrics
All metrics support flexible time range filtering and can be viewed at the team or individual contributor level. Metrics are updated automatically as your integrations sync data from connected tools.
