Overview

Cursor is an AI-powered code editor that provides intelligent coding assistance and insights. By integrating Cursor with DevDynamics, you can gain valuable insights into your development workflow and code usage patterns.

Prerequisites

Before setting up the Cursor integration, ensure you have:

  • Administrative access to your DevDynamics account

  • A valid Cursor account with appropriate permissions

  • Access to Cursor Admin API Keys

Getting Started

Step 1: Generate Cursor API Key

  1. Navigate to your Cursor dashboard at cursor.com/dashboard

  2. Go to the Settings tab

  3. Select Cursor Admin API Keys from the menu

  4. Generate a new API key

  5. Copy the API key securely

Step 2: Configure Integration in DevDynamics

  1. Log in to your DevDynamics dashboard

  2. Navigate to HomeSettingsIntegrations

  3. Find and select Cursor from the available integrations

  4. Click Integrate Cursor

Step 3: Enter Connection Details

In the Connect to Cursor dialog:

  1. API Key: Enter the API key you generated from Cursor

    • Paste the key

  2. User Email: Enter the email address of the Personal Access Token (PAT) owner

    • This should be the email associated with the Cursor account that owns the API key

  3. Click Integrate Cursor to complete the setup
